JIPM CoverJournal of Infrastructure Policy and Management (JIPM) is a multi-disciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Indonesian Infrastructure Guarantee Fund (IIGF) Institute, a think-tank institution under the Indonesian Ministry of Finance. The journal is dedicated to disseminating high-quality research-based articles and conceptual papers on infrastructure planning, development, policy, and evaluation in Indonesia. The printed version of JIPM was first launched in July 2018.

Journal of Infrastructure Policy and Management (JIPM) welcomes any articles addressing key issues related to policy and management in the development of public infrastructure in Indonesia from various disciplines, such as Public Policy, Urban Planning and Design, Environment and Sustainable Development, Economics and Fiscal Policy, Creative Financing, Taxation and Finance, Law, Engineering, Sociology, and other related-fields.

The topics may include but not limited to:

  1. Public-Private Partnership for infrastructure development
  2. Economic and financial aspects, including creative financing schemes and asset management (funding and investment, taxation, life-cycle cost, , risk mitigation and management, cost and budgeting, public private partnership, innovative financing, data management and technology integration, capacity building)
  3. Infrastructure policy (governance and public policy innovation, bureaucratic reform, and institutional arrangements)
  4. Urban and rural planning (land use, zoning regulation, housing, smart/healthy cities, heritage preservation, ICT for spatial planning and management)
  5. Sustainability and waste management (environment, energy, climate change, resource use and efficiency, smart and green technology, city resilience)
  6. Law and regulations (contractual agreements, safety regulations, data privacy, cyber security, land use, and zoning regulations)
  7. Engineering (design and technical specifications, quality control and assurance, geotechnical issues, material selection and durability, innovative technology, architecture, smart architecture)
  8. Community development and social engineering (infrastructure development and social inclusion, community resettlement, community resilience and participation, social justice)
  9. Transportation issues (road, railway, seaport, airport)
  10. Digital application for infrastructure innovation (artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.)

Call for Papers Vol. 7 Year 2024

We invite lecturers, students, researchers, and practitioners to contribute as authors for the Journal of Infrastructure Policy and Management (JIPM) of the year 2024. The JIPM Editorial Team will assess each submitted article and award a total appreciation of 15.000.000 IDR to fifteen selected articles for the publication of vol. 7 no. 1 (June) and vol. 7 no. 2 (December). The article should be submitted no later than 15 May 2024 at 23.59 Indonesian Western Time, to the email: iigf.institute@iigf.co.id or via our OJS.
